The W, New Orleans, part III

When I usually travel for work I stay at hotels like The Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. I love these hotels and their nice, white bedding. But my New Orleans trip was a little different.

There were about 4 conference hotel options and I was the most excited about The W. Being the small town girl that I am I have never stayed at a somewhat "boutique" type hotel like this.

The lobby

Another part of the lobby.

A little alcove off of the bar and the lobby.

The courtyard

The courtyard at night.
Can anyone tell which movie they were playing??

I loved the hallway lights.

One of the best parts of the hotel were the free Bliss products.

Across the street from my hotel was a little restaurant called, Mothers. I had breakfast there a couple of times. I love the egg biscuits.

Looks very pretty! Boutique hotels can be a lot of fun. That courtyard is charming and I love that they're showing Twilight!

Oh I do hope you ate at least one Po-boy at Mother's. Anything with the "debris" on it is just to die for. And the free Bliss stuff is awesome - I would have been hunting down the maid to stock up!

Yum Mothers!! Did you have to wait in line forever? I think I had to wait in line no less than forty-five minutes every time I've been, but it sure is worth it!

Your entire NOLA trip looks like it was so fun! Besides maybe the working part :) I love NOLA, and I can't wait to get back for a visit.

Ooh-la-la! What a great hotel! Now, is NOLA a posh substitute for New Orleans? I must be out of the loop...

I Heart NOLA, and Love Bliss products! I hope you had a great trip!! My Bestie lives in Baton Rogue and was married in Jackson square so we get to make it down pretty often, not in such style-so live it up pretty girl!

What a fantastic trip, Lindsey. I miss my hometown and can't watit to return for Thanksgiving.

By the way, you are sooo lucky you got into Mother's as easily as you did. Those lines are notoriously long. It's wonderful that you were able to eat their delicious breakfast food.

Mmm, Mother's. The 21st can't come soon eonugh!

I'm a Starwood Platnum member from all of my travels and I must say that getting to stay at Ws for free sometimes with my points is the BEST job perk ever.

I've never been to New Orelens though, it looks awesome!
