Warm and Cozy
Ty was determined to start a fire for the first time in our house. I guess last year he was too focused on school to think about using our fireplace. Not the case this year. We ran to the store and bought wood and marshmallows.

We have a fireplace in our apartment and now that it's winter, we have started lighting it almost every night when we get home. The flames can completely hypnotise you for hours. So cozy and comforting :)

ahh the fire place is what I miss most about the house I grew up in! I told hubs I have a few requirements for our next house. First is the fire place above all else. Then a yard. then a big front porch. I never had one...

That's so great about the fireplace...Grant won't use ours, because he thinks that it's inefficient! So sad!

Guys are so funny about fires. My husband can not wait to start our first one this year! It is definitely nice to have it going. I might need to make a run to the store for some marshmallows!
I would love to have a home with a fireplace when we buy one to light on cold nights... never mind that we live in florida and would only be able to use it about 5x a year. They are wonderful!

I MISS our fireplace! The house we live in now is an old house and doesn't have one - my husband could really build the fires and I loved to just stand in front of it and warm up or lay on the couch and just watch and listen to the fire crackle. Enjoy! :o)
