brightens my day

Med school applicant interviews have officially started and that means long days. Not really in hours. My hours stay about the same. But these days, while I love them, wear me out. Something about constantly being "on" all day is exhausting.

I decided to design a cover for my interview day binder. Just a little something that will make me happy when I see it.
I love these colors.

Using my WS pumpkin loaf pan for the first time this Fall also brightens my day.

Even though it's a pumpkin mold pan, I don't bake pumpkin bread in it.
I don't actually like pumpkin flavored food.
This is banana nut bread.

Hang in there with interview season! A lot of work it sounds! I loved the pumpkin pan from last year, but I went with the acorn cakelet pan! Yours is so darling and looks delish!

I'll eat the pumpkin foods for you (my favorites!) but I'm right there with you on the banana bread, AND it is really cute in the pumpkin mold. My fiance dislikes pumpkin foods as well, I may just make him some banana bread in my little pumpkin tin! Good luck with the interviews, I know you will do incredibly well.

Those are very similar to the colors that I used in my baby's nursery. I love them too! Such a lovely binder.
